Career

Career

As a thrice-elected Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab, Pakistan, representing the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), her tenure spans from 2013 to the present day, with notable contributions across various legislative domains. 

Hina has been a vocal advocate for women’s rights, introducing pivotal resolutions and bills addressing issues such as the rights of home-based workers, domestic workers, and prisoners. Her leadership within the First Women Parliamentary Caucus of Punjab, where she served as General Secretary from 2015 to 2016 and continues to champion women’s health issues, underscores her dedication to gender equality and social justice.

Hina assumed the role of Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority (PWPA) in 2024, embarking on a three-year tenure dedicated to championing women’s protection, welfare, rights and empowerment in Punjab.

Her journey began with Academic Awards in 2004 with the prestigious Dean’s Honour Award at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), recognizing her exceptional academic prowess in the BSc (Hons) program, and later in 2010 with Dean’s Honour Award in recognition of outstanding academic performance among the graduating MBA Class of 2010.

Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO)

In 2019, she was honored for her dedication to fostering peace and sustainable development by the Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO), highlighting her proactive stance on global issues.

Human Rights Award

The year 2022 brought further acclaim as Hina received the Human Rights Award from distinguished figures including His Excellency Kees Van Baar, Human Rights Ambassador of the Netherlands, and Her Excellency Jeanette Seppen, Ambassador of the Netherlands. This recognition underscored her tireless efforts in championing human dignity and rights.

Minorities Rights Award

Simultaneously, she was celebrated with the Minorities Rights Award by the Human Friends Organization (HFO) for her steadfast advocacy for minority rights and inclusivity.
